I went out to dinner with Jeanette, Irene, and May Wednesday night to the Iron Barley. It was featured on the Food Network so we thought it was good enough to try it out. I had the Seafood Risotto which was a HUGE bowl of sun dried tomato risotto loaded with mussels, shrimp, scallops, and squid. It was excellent but too big. I had to take it home to Eddie. Irene had the Southwest Chicken and May had the roasted pork chop. Jeanette had the Schnitzel & Spaetzle which was a pan fried pork fillets with a german dumpling pasta – very tasty! I highly recommend it! Oh, the best part was the Eggplant Chowder and Watermelon salad. Website is http://www.ironbarley.com.
