First Snow 2009

We managed to make our way into the foot of snow for some playtime. I think I got more worn out getting all of us in our snow gear than actually playing outside. Anyway, I couldn't get any really good pictures because Paige could barely walk in the deep snow. Shane slid down our hill on his snow disc and I spent all my time shoveling and helping Paige. It was pretty short lived but we had fun nonetheless.

Happy Chinese New Year!

My mother and father in law came into town last weekend for Chinese New Year. To celebrate we went to lunch at the Emperor's Palace. We were hoping to see the dragons but the snow had postponed them until later that afternoon. I brought my camera and got some pretty good shots. My favorite shots were of Paige eating a marshmallow dipped in dark chocolate. She loves her

sweets just like her mommy!!!

The Nightmare continues...

Well, I am just not able to escape the sickness lingering in this family. Paige is finally getting over her nasty pink eye virus and I was getting excited to go to the gym in the morning. Just before Shane was about to get on the bus he vomitted all over himself, me, the couch, and my favorite throw. He took it pretty well but wanted a bath right away because, you know, he hates being dirty. I got everything cleaned up but had to chuck my throw blanket. I guess it gives me an excuse to get a new one! I am hoping next week will be a brighter, healthier week!

What a Nightmare...

I finally got that horrible stomach virus that has been traveling around for the past few months. The only places I could have possibly picked it up would be the grocery store or the gym. So far, my family seems pretty safe but we will see. I haven't been sick like that in ages! Today, I am feeling a little more normal but really being careful what I eat. The most crazy thing about this is that I got this virus the day after my sister got it - she lives in South Florida. We had the very same symptoms and everything! I know you can't spread germs through the phone line but what a coincidence!

Tough Day

Today was supposed to be my relaxing day with Paige at Kids Day Out but she woke up with pink eye. I was able to get her a doctor appointment at 9:45 this morning but Shane was irritated that she wasn't going to school and decided to take it out on me. I did finally make it to see the doctor and was able to tell him about Paige's coughing fits. To make a long story short I walked out with 2 prescriptons and a nebulizer. Let's hope she will be cooperative for these daily treatments!

Here is a couple of pictures I took at dinnertime a few nights ago. Paige has decided not to sit in a booster anymore so dinner time can be a little tricky. Enjoy!

The Weather Outside is Frightful...

Yes, I am staying home today because the temperature is a whopping 0 degrees. I usually take the kids to the gym or Target but we are staying in today. I do have a babysitter coming in to play with the kids while I get some much needed house work done. I have been taking a lot of photos and videos so I will be posting those soon. For now, I must get to work!!!

A Big Moment For Me

When I was flossing Shane's little bitty teeth tonight I felt the bottom two because he said he had some pain. The bottom left front tooth was actually loose! I couldn't believe that my little five year old was starting to lose his baby teeth. He was just a little baby yesterday and now he is a little boy. He is still wearing 4T and some 5T but is not in boys sizes yet. I know it is just a matter of time... And he DOES know about the tooth fairy. I actually think he learned about the tooth fairy from Yo Gabba Gabba!!!
