Too, too funny!

Auntie Jeanette likes to teach Paige silly songs and fun things to say…not always appropriate.  Well, we got this little video of her singing a song off the radio…not sure the name of it.

Just Too Precious

Jeanette got this adorable shot of Paige during her ballet class at St. Louis Ballet.  Of course, she did not want to wear the tights but I was surprised she actually wore her ballet shoes.  She seems to enjoy it.  I can’t wait to see what she learns!!!

Our Basement Project

Well, we decided to go ahead and finish our basement so that it will be ready for the winter.  They said it would take about 6 weeks but I am amazed how much they have gotten done in just four days.  The only thing that we have to get installed is the carpet.  I will be thrilled when the kids can spend time downstairs with all their toys instead of the living room!DSC00890 DSC00888 DSC00889

Shane’s Birthday

Shane had a very full day of birthday festivities.  Irene and I brought cookies to Shane’s kindergarten class and the entire class sang happy birthday to him.

He couldn’t wait to open his gifts so as soon as he got off the bus we let him open the big one – new marble run.  We went to dinner with the whole fam to Emperor’s Palace (that is where Shane wanted to go).  We came home and opened more presents and did the birthday cake thing.  I think he really enjoyed himself.

Costco Run

We took a little trip to Costco yesterday and I got the cutest shot of May and Paige.  May carried her around the store up on her shoulder and Paige was lovin’ it!  I think she wishes Auntie May would be around more often.

The Iron Barley

DSC00838 I went out to dinner with Jeanette, Irene, and May Wednesday night to the Iron Barley.  It was featured on the Food Network so we thought it was good enough to try it out.  I had the Seafood Risotto which was a HUGE bowl of sun dried tomato risotto loaded with mussels, shrimp, scallops, and squid.  It was excellent but too big.  I had to take it home to Eddie.  Irene had the Southwest Chicken and May had the roasted pork chop.  Jeanette had the Schnitzel & Spaetzle which was a pan fried pork fillets with a german dumpling pasta – very tasty!  I highly recommend it!  Oh, the best part was the Eggplant Chowder and Watermelon salad.  Website is http://www.ironbarley.com. NODCC Conference 2009

We had an excellent time in Indianapolis at the conference. Shane and Paige had a blast at the kid's camp, and also at the Saturday night dance party. Eddie, Jeanette, and I learned so much and are so happy to have met two other families in the St. Louis area. The conference next year is in Santa Clara, CA, which we will have to definitely fly. I will post all the pictures on the Shutterfly site. Take a look!

Crazy, Crazy Weekend!!!

We had a pretty nutzo weekend. Besides having crazy kids and a hyper puppy, we also had a water leak catastrophe. We are having the kids' bathroom remodeled and the welding of a pipe busted and a huge amount of water collected in the ceiling and started dripping onto the carpet which then made its way all the way down to the basement. Our contractor came over yesterday and fixed the pipe. He said he would redo the ceiling and also paint our new bathroom for no charge. Hopefully, this project will be done soon!!

Rudy Piromsuk

We have a new family member named Rudy. He is a Malti Poo, which is a Maltese Poodle mix. He is black with white eye brows, butt, paws and belly. He is very playful and loves to chase the kids. He is a handful right now because he is so tiny but he slept all through the night without a peep and did not go to the bathroom in his crate...Yeah! Shane keeps saying, "I love my puppy". I think he will be a great addition to the Piromsuk clan.

Oldies but Goodies

So, I am finally uploading our old videos from VHS and posting them so we can all enjoy them. The one below takes place right after Lacy's high school graduation. Everyone is chilling - it is fun to see everyone from 13 years ago.

To watch the video, you'll first need to install the flash player.

'

I do have one problem - I have a limited account and can not post more than a few videos at a time. I am asking for a small donation to buy a membership at motionbox.com. It is $30 per year and allows me to put larger videos up and with HD quality.

You can click my Paypal link below or just give me a call. I think it would be great if we all pitched in!

New Missing Tooth

Shane finally pulled out his top front tooth today - all by himself. He had been working on it hard for the last day or so and his hard work paid off. He was so relieved when it came out. He is putting it under the pillow tonight for the tooth fairly. He looks like a real little boy now headed for elementary school! Awwww!!!
